970 Performance Parts was started as an eBay store on October 17th, 2005. At the time we specialized in selling used racing parts from local racers on a consignment basis. On January 17th, 2007 970 Performance Parts, LLC was formed. After discovering a love for the Honda Ruckus we found an outlet for aftermarket parts from NCY in Taiwan that had limited availability in the US. Over the next year 970 was the sole retailer for NCY parts in the US and worked closely with NCY's parent company Chian-Yie Industrial Company Ltd. to offer the best parts possible and to help develop new parts for the Honda Ruckus/Zoomer and Metropolitan. Our stock in NCY was gobbled up by Scooter Works in Chicago, IL, a major player in the imported scooter parts market. This shift allowed our focus to be placed on more performance oriented aspects of the Honda GET engine. In June of 2007 we started working with a local race engine builder on porting and polishing the GET head while simultaneously developing a camshaft that could maximize the flow of these reworked heads. After two iterations and many thousands of miles of testing the 970 HO Head and Cam were released to the public as a bolt on modification in conjunction with the 58.1cc bottom end offered by Chanito Motorsports.

    We are no longer in the business of selling aftermarket parts and accessories, however we can offer advice on which parts we have seen work well and what retailers we use. From our new location in Greeley, Colorado 970 continues to offer our customers the best experience in performance tuning and custom scooter building.
